Two reasons - 1. I met some lovely people when I worked in Bolton who are still dear friends ten years after I retired. 2. The Olympus Fish and Chip Restaurant is in Bolton. Bring the two together as I often do and and a great time is guaranteed.

We have everything here! A beautiful, clean, picturesque landscape surrounding the town, a wonderful historic Victorian Terrace on Le Mans Crescent and plethora of shops to choose from. We are friendly, welcoming and host a fabulous Food & Drink Festival! I love exploring Bolton.

It has some beautiful buildings, despite many empty units below some of them. Its beautiful countryside and choice of walks and cycle paths is huge. It has always had a good amount of music venues, entertainment and nightlife, this has now dwindled in the last 20 years, I hope that this will be boosted again with the new plans.

My Bolton born grandfather became quite a well known opera singer, Flintoff Moore (his stage name), travelling to the USA in the 1920s to sing. I love Bolton & all my family living there today.
